Psidium guajava, commonly known as 'guava', belongs to the Myrtaceae family and is an alternative use of traditional methods corrosion inhibition. The aim this study anodize titanium in environmentally friendly guajava electrolyte order improve its anti-corrosion performance. For purpose, samples CP (commercially pure) grade 2 were anodized plant extract based on with transient variations current density (1 0.1 mA/cm²) time (5, 30 60 min). Samples characterized terms morphology by SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) analysis. hydrophobicity oxides was evaluated sessile drop method. Anodized analyzed for colorimetry CIE L*a*b* method UV-Vis cyclic voltammetry, understand compounds their behavior anodizing process. From obtained results, generated through anodization at mA/cm² ones that presented best results 5 minutes showed very similar greater reproducibility compared others analyzed, which formation a barrier-type oxide layer samples.
